How do I download the app?

Visit the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and search for "Slate Card", or click the download button on our homepage to be taken directly to the app listing.

What are the system requirements?

Slate Card requires iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone or iPad. You'll also need an internet connection for initial setup and scanning features.

Do I need a subscription?

No, Slate Card uses a one-time payment model. Choose the Standard plan ($99) or Pro plan ($299) based on your needs. Enterprise customers can contact sales for custom pricing.

Digital Cards

How do I create my digital card?

After signing up, tap "Create Card" in the app. Enter your name, job title, company, contact information, and upload a profile photo. You can customise colours and add your company logo.

Can I add my digital card to Apple Wallet?

Yes! Your digital card can be added directly to Apple Wallet for easy access. Recipients can tap it to save your contact information with one tap.

Can I share my card on social media?

Absolutely! Your card comes with a personalised landing page at slatecard.com.au/brand/yourname. Share the link or QR code on LinkedIn, Instagram, email, or anywhere else.

Card Scanning

How does the card scanning feature work?

Open the scanning feature, point your camera at a business card, and Slate Card uses AI-powered OCR to automatically extract contact information. The card is then saved to your collection.

Can Slate Card find LinkedIn profiles automatically?

Yes! When you scan a card, Slate Card searches for the person's LinkedIn profile and can automatically save their LinkedIn information to your contacts.

What if the card is unclear or damaged?

You can edit the scanned information manually. Tap the contact to view extracted details and make any corrections needed before saving.

Analytics

What analytics does Slate Card provide?

Track profile views, taps on your card, saves to contacts, and more. See who viewed your card and when they interacted with it to measure networking impact.

Can I export my analytics data?

We're working on export features for Enterprise customers. Contact our sales team to find out more about custom reporting options.

Billing & Plans

What's included in each plan?

Standard ($99): Digital card, card scanning, basic analytics, profile landing page. Pro ($299): Everything plus physical business cards and custom domain support. Enterprise: Everything plus API access, white-label options, bulk orders.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Since Slate Card uses one-time payments, you can upgrade anytime by purchasing the difference between plans. Contact support for assistance with upgrades.

Do you offer refunds?

We stand behind our product. If you're not satisfied within 14 days of purchase, contact our support team at support@slatecard.com.au to discuss a refund.

Custom Domains

Can I use my own custom domain? (Pro plan)

Yes! Pro plan users can use their own custom domain like cards.mycompany.com. We provide setup instructions and automatic SSL certification.

How do I set up a custom domain?

Go to Settings > Custom Domain in the app, enter your domain, and follow the DNS setup instructions. Once verified, your card will be accessible at your custom URL.
